The 1430 is waterproof, dustproof and crushproof and is covered by the Peli Lifetime Guarantee. The case has a top loading design and is available with a 3-layered pick 'n' pluck foam set (plus base and lid foam).

The case has a rubber over-moulded handle for comfortable carrying and two easy open double-step latches.
