Warren Davies is a contemporary art photographer whose practice focuses on identity within community and environment. Through his studies at Manchester Metropolitan University he has created several projects focused on feminine aesthetics, environment and self using a variety of analogue and digital processes.
His current work is research into gay men and their relationship to the LGBT community as well as reflecting on himself to resolve his own tension with his identity, and gain informed opinions on contemporary gay culture.
His objective is to create a space for the gay male body, where it isn’t overtly objectified, and to find his own place in this culture.
